Heirloom Christmas

Listen to the 1883 Steinway played by John Goering & Nina Jean Rolhfs as you stroll through the decorated rooms of Wildwood House. Join friends for a small $5 fee in the Ware Tea Room for delectable desserts. Get in the spirit of Christmas Victorian style with the staff at Wildwood on Dec. 2, a Sunday afternoon between 1 and 4 p.m.  Door prizes every half hour!


Victorian Christmas in October

Reflect on Christmas in the past as you tour Wildwood House all decorated for a Victorian Christmas through the whole month of October.  Tours will continue on the weekends in November.  Each room has a special treatment.  Guides are in costumes of the Victorian period.  Get yourself into the holiday mood and do a little shopping in the Gift Shop converted from the original brick barn.  

Hours are 10-5 Mon. through Sat. & 1-5 on Sunday in Oct.  

Nov. hours will be 10-5 on Sat. & 1-5 on Sunday.



Bits of History & Create & Take Pottery for AppleJack

J. Sterling Morton Questers have loaned collections for display in the House for AppleJack weekend.  See old Valentines, medical items, jewelry, cups & saucers, mother of pearl flatware & many other things including the ironstone.  Lots of pottery was made in the 1800's.  This weekend your famiy can 'make & take' a piece of air dry pottery for FREE.


Open 10-5 on Saturday and 1-5 on Sunday.



Star Party September 15

Astronomy clubs from the area invite you to join them for an evening under the stars.  Telescopes will be set up on the Wildwood Golf Course just south of Wildwood parking lot. Bring friends and family so you can view the stars and hear the stories from these amatuer astronomers. They enjoy sharing.  This is a FREE event.  The best part may be viewing the moon through the 1850's telescope from the Wildwood collection.  Starts at 8:00 p.m. 


Did P.R.I.N.T. find a Presence!?

Did the P.R.I.N.T. Paranormal team discover anything at Wildwood House after dark?  Meet team members on Sat. May 12 at 7:00 p.m. to talk about their findings.  A unique experience to visit Wildwood after hours.  Walk through the House for FREE.
