Star Party September 15

Astronomy clubs from the area invite you to join them for an evening under the stars.  Telescopes will be set up on the Wildwood Golf Course just south of Wildwood parking lot. Bring friends and family so you can view the stars and hear the stories from these amatuer astronomers. They enjoy sharing.  This is a FREE event.  The best part may be viewing the moon through the 1850's telescope from the Wildwood collection.  Starts at 8:00 p.m.

Farming in Miniature

From horse drawn equipment to tractors see these scale model pieces all done in wood by Bob Fey.  There are moving parts, tiny bolts & nuts and even ears of corn.  Visit with Bob Sat. Apr. 28 from 1-4 and on Sun. Apr. 29 from 1-4 in Wildwood House as you take a tour of the Victorian Ware home. Bob has won many awards from the Otoe County Fair, Trans Mississippi Exposition, art shows in Texas, buggy accepted for display at the Sheldon Art Gallery in Lincoln and the Nebraska State Fair with the latest medal awarded the second of March this year.  This display will bring back memories for farmers & their wives and give Grandparents a chance to show families 'how things used to be done!'.
