Celebrate America 250 by slowing down and trying your hand at the oldest known quilt pattern. In this workshop style class at Wildwood Historic Center, you will take a tour of our Quilts Across Nebraska Exhibit in our historical house, learn the history of crazy quilts, enjoy a picnic lunch in the Victorian Garden and how to make one of your own.

Things to know:

• Sign up and pay at Wildwood Historic Center

• No experience necessary, but experience is welcome

• Ages 13 and up are welcome.

• All supplies are supplied. You are welcome to bring your own special/sentimental fabric, ribbons, trim, buttons, and beads, etc..

• Bring your lunch and we will picnic in Wildwood’s Victorian Garden if weather permits.

• No machine sewing – only hand stitches so bring your favorite little basket, symbol, fabric, scissors, and alike or use one of Marcia’s.

• You will most likely leave with an unfinished project; however, Marcia will be available via phone, text, email or in person after Saturday for more assistance to finish your project if you desire.
